Rocky Mtn-wk 5
I had to make a decision today... a kind of hard one...
I've been going on the Chair Exercise Team's Rocky Mtn Challenge for the last 5 weeks. It has been good for me to have a goal to reach toward each week.
I have failed overall on the virtual part of the challenge. I tried several weeks to get caught up on my description, but I was behind again for week 4. I just went to try to finish up the journaling, but now I'm also behind on journaling ALL of week 5! so...
I've made an executive decision... I like the challenge and the goals of steps, but I really can't take the time to look up the scenery, etc... so - at this point, for my own help, I'm keeping track of my steps, but not working toward the goodies. And, really - what is more valuable for me? the steps! This is difficult because I'm a high achiever, LOL. But - I'm almost 50, so I should be able to be mature about knowing my limitations. :-)
It does help me to realize that I've been through the Rockies numerous times - and I'm not seeing anything drastically different... I LOVE the mountains! And I've stood at the continental divide... My sister used to live on Pikes Peak, and I still have nieces living in Colorado Springs... so that, too, I can release!
Anyway - because of the modest steps required for last week, I was able to join Group 3!!! WooHoo!!!!

Mon GOAL - 1500 - ACTUAL STEPS - 2337
Tue GOAL - 2500 - ACTUAL STEPS - 4204
Wed GOAL - 3500 - ACTUAL STEPS - 5430
Thur GOAL - 2300 - ACTUAL STEPS - 2836
Fri GOAL - 3000 - ACTUAL STEPS - 3899
Sat GOAL - 2000 - ACTUAL STEPS - 1396 + 604 from Sunday (already subtracted from Sunday on Week 6)
