I am still not able to run

and I still have a fair amount of pain just walking - especially if the muscle relaxer is wearing off. I've been pretty much sitting on my butt since last Wednesday.
But no more! Today I got up and went to spin class

For some reason, spinning doesn't aggravate my hip at all. At least while in the seated position. I stood only twice during the class but did so only at very slow speed and with light resistance. Just enough to give my rear a rest. I was really nice to get my heart rate up and work up a good sweat. I really needed it. If I still feel pretty good tomorrow, I'll do another spin class. At least I'll be able to keep my cardio endurance.
I'm still not sure if I'll be able to run in the half marathon on Thanksgiving weekend. 3 weeks down is going to take a fair amount to time to regain. Once I see my doctor next week, I'll be in a better position to make that decision.
