Why Am I Addicted To Kit-Kats!!!????

Wednesday, November 02, 2011

OMG! Everyday at work this week, someone has approached me with candy, and, normally, I am able to refuse. However, everyday this week, in addition to approaching me with regular candy, someone has always had the AUDACITY to approach me with Kit-Kats or Almond Joys, and my willpower becomes non-existent...WHY!?!?! It's driving me nuts...I'll be going strong and doing well, and then I melt like butter when I see that lovely, bright orange package...huff! This isn't the first time I've discovered this love affair with Kit-Kats (and Almond Joys)...I've fought this addiction time and time again. The problem isn't eating one kit-kat package; I mean, I've never practiced self-deprevation. However, with me and Kit-Kats, it's not's two pieces...which may lead to three...which may lead to more...and I absolutely LOVE the large Kit-Kat candy bar. URRRHHH! Just thought I'd take this time out to vent...thanks for listening :-)

Peanut M&Ms are my weakness. I work them in though, always buying portioned packages. I only eat them when I can sit and enjoy each one.

You will not go the rest of your life without them so just work them in. But it's crazy how some foods can make you lose it fast!

This year I'm addicted to Milk Duds. I have the little boxes with four pieces in it. But I eat at least 5 boxes. It's out of control!

    Too funny!
I have that problem, but with different foods, I literally can't keep them in the house or I will eat them until they are gone... ya I know that's what you're supposed to do with food, but you're not supposed to eat them until they are gone in ONE SITTING! ha

Halloween is a bad time for candy.
I used to give out apples with fortunes attached to the stems... I got dressed up as a witch and served them from a cauldron. You can't imagine how unpopular my house was... ha

Have a fun week... remember this too shall pass and if you can't have a bit of candy every now and then, what fun is THAT?

Ohh, I love kitkats too! Moderation, moderation. So frustrating I know, but keep practicing! My daughter (almost 2) went trick or treating for the first time, so now we have this pile of fun-size candy that is just calling my name! At least people aren't circulating candy in this fashion all year long, wouldn't that be something? Maybe you could sub your own, healthier sweet-treat next time a candy comes dancing under your nose?
