Sleep interrupted

Saturday, January 07, 2012

I went to bed not quite as early as I should have last night. I was only going to get 7 hours of sleep if I could sleep the entire night. And you've got to know that's not easy for me any more. Last night wasn't any different.

I was startled awake by the phone ringing. At a few minutes after midnight. With my alarm set for 4 am...argh!!

It was the alarm/security company for the store telling me that the alarm at the store was going off. Then I talked to some woman at the alarm company and she said, "No, the alarm isn't going off, it's not armed at all." Really? Who closed last night?

I didn't end up going in since Chris went in. Apparently the closing manager didn't set the alarm last night. I mean, I guess it's good that they monitor things like that, but midnight? And to then not be able to go back to sleep for an hour and a half. Needless to say, my eyes are ready to close right about now, but I have several things i still need to do tonight before I hit the hay!

Now what do you suppose tomorrow will bring? emoticon
