This entry is to motivate me. If it motivates you, that's icing on the cake.

Back in August I joined the 5K Your Way Spark Team to get myself from not running at all for thirty years to at least a non-stop 5K jog. It worked for me and now I have been running a measured hilly 5K on the decent weather weekends. I feel like I could almost call myself a runner although I'm averaging only eleven minute miles. I've been telling myself to get serious, but I haven't done so. Tomorrow looks to have halfway decent weather around here, so I'm going to do 10K as best I can, and report on results here afterward.

On another note; Judith had her first follow-up visit with the surgeon who did her toe joint implant. Everything looks good including the fancy bandage she got today.
