Once Again, I'm Glad I Put It In Writing...

...Because I wrote this in the LiveFit Revolution Forum yesterday.

"It snowed all day with heavy wind gusts so no Cardio-Challenge today. Tomorrow looks good so I'll start and finish with fairly level one mile runs with a walk jog to the crest of Thorne Hill in between."

Today, when I woke, it was 22 degrees F and windy, but I said I was going to do the run, so I grabbed my baklava mask, gloves, and hoodie -and out the door.

Here's how I described the results in the LFR forum:

"I'm glad I did the Cardio-Challenge today, not so much because I am happy with my time, but because I met another runner and his dog. Turns out he lives about four miles from me. Neither of us had ever seen another runner on that stretch. He was only running in my direction because this year's warmer winter had cut into his normal winter activity of skiing. He was expanding his running to take up the slack. Anyway, somewhere down the line, there is the potential for us running together.

I don't have a baseline because I didn't do the first one mile challenge, but here are today's Cardio-Challenge Stats:

Warm up mile Less than 50' gain in elevation: 9:40 min.
Return mile -Slightly downhill of course: 8:45 min.
2.5 mile run/walk, play with dog, and converse: 25 min."
