About day 2 and a little of Day 3: Ugh, my stomach is in pain! :(

First off i want to thank everyone who commented on my last blog entry! It made me smile to get so many comments and for all the helpful hints and tips.

Went to the gym yesterday and there was a personal trainer there that was able to help me try most of the machines out and show me how to use them. He was very nice and kept asking me if I was alright wondering if I was pushing myself too much and what not.

Well, that was yesterday evening and I exercised for about an hour. Today I had college classes and I was surprised at how "pain free" I was walking all over campus. I actually felt more awake too. I mean, I had soreness all over my body but not to the point where it was really painful. Mgiht sound weird, but even going up some flights of stairs it didn't tire me so much. The sorest part of my body is my stomach muscle.

Well, my last college class ended at 3:20 and I had this one "extra credit" class at 5:40 so I went to the computer lab early where the class was taking place and did whatever until class started.

Well, had class and I was out at 7:00pm. Then it hit me on how sore my stomach REALLY was. I noticed I walked slower and almost like a penguin(lol..) to my car. I mean, it's really sore. Even sitting here it's like.. oww. lol :(

My original plan was to exercise at the gym 3 times a week after work. Mon-wed-fri. Well, Thursday and Friday there's no school/work so I'm off Friday. I'm thinking I'm going to be feeling way too sore tomorrow to work out. I might starting next week to just do two times a week. Mon and Fri. And when I get into a routine, add one more day to my plan.

In other news from weight loss stuff: Today felt pretty nice. I've been pretty tired lately since my schedule is kind of new to me. This is about my third or fourth week of getting use to work on mon-wed-fri and school on tue-thur. I do work study so I'm able to do school work at work (yay!) but my sleeping schedule has been kind of eh. It's' getting better though so I'm happy about that.

Back to today being nice: I usually have a long break on Tues. between classes and today, instead of doing any college work or playing on my laptop, I literally sat on a bench for about almost an hour just loving the breeze, watching the ducks, and listening to the water. It felt really nice since I guess lately I feel like every minute there's something that I need to do.

EDIT: Just a quick question: Does anyone calculate their daily walking activity as fitness minutes? I'm not too sure if I should add it to my fitness minutes or not. I walk a lot on campus and take stairs as much as possible.

    A lot of folks count their steps and track that. It's really up to you.

    As far as the soreness, try to keep moving. It will go away, but it will get worse if you don't do a little something. Hang in there. It will get better.
