"Staycation" Day 1

Well, if accomplishing things is my goal for this staycation, I'm off to a good start:

- Power washed the siding by the garage and my office, which was covered with bugs (there is a motion light there and the bugs like it!). Plus I found a hornet's nest at the very top, of course on the 2nd floor near the roof, so I had to lean out my office window to nail the net with spray!
- Ran at the Y (4 miles)
- Whole blood donation
- Grocery shopping, mostly for dinner tonight

I'd probably go do some more prior to dinner, but with it being 93F outside plus the whole blood donation, I'm opting to laying low until dinnertime, when my stepdaughter-in-law is coming over. She just sent her kids to Florida to spend some time with their dad, so it'll be a nice "adult" evening!

And I don't have to get up early tomorrow, either!
