Taking teeny tiny steps today...

Sunday, September 09, 2012

Looking forward to tomorrow's start of my Naturally Slim program...stopped at WalMart today and bought a new stability ball...had to get a new one because my little six month old kitten punctured the other one...she's something, that's for sure.

While at WalMart, I thought I'd go ahead and do my grocery shopping, maybe save myself a little time. Then I got to the produce...that's when I remembered why I don't like shopping for my groceries at WalMart...the produce was in pretty sad shape. I picked through it and bought enough for the first few days of the week...then I'll stop at Kroger and buy what I need for the rest of the week.

Oh yeah, for the first time in months, I parked in the back of the parking lot so I'd get a few more steps in...trying to change my mindset here. Every little bit helps.

I came home and got vegetable beef soup going in the crock pot...dinner tonight and for the next several nights...makes it a lot easier to eat healthy after working all day if I have something already prepared. Not to mention how fantastic the house smells right now!

Then I checked in to SparkPeople...got some inspiration...decided to go ahead and get my walking and stretching done. Have to fight through the pain in order to get stronger, and that's what I'm doing. It'll get better the longer I do it.

I'm kind of looking forward to surprising my doctor later this month!! emoticon

Hey, you have a great plan. I do agree about Walmart's produce. It certainly is not the best.
