What is discourage and how do we get past it?

Discourage: Cause (someone) to lose confidence or enthusiasm

This is how I feel after only a few weeks of really working it. I've been tracking calories and exercises. To be honest with myself I have been "working" it but the weekends are my down fall. This weekend I am planning out meals to get over that obstacle.

Even though I know I can do this and have done it before it just seems like such a struggle anymore. I look in the mirror, take pictures, put on my clothes and nothing seems to change. It's that feeling I need when you step on the scale to see results, to look in the mirror and see the curves or to take a picture and be like WOW it really did disappear. Lately, I wonder if it will happen to me, if I will have my "moment."

To keep myself going, I have a wedding to get into shape for, the Color Run in April, and just the feeling of being fit and knowing that I did it! The people on here are amazing and very supportive. Also, my friends, family and fiance are cheering me on, to make it and finish! I don't want to stop, so even through this is a hard time, I will continue. I will make myself a better person, learning along the way. emoticon

Now onto finding recipes for this weekend to make it a successful weekend!

    weekends are my downfall too. the best advice i can give is show up on monday like it's work. doesn't mean you wanna be there.. but clock in to eating right and exercising like it's your job.
