So here's the thing: I haven't been tracking my exercise on Spark People recently, because I've either been too busy or too tired, but I HAVE been exercising. I haven't cheated on my nutrition rules/goals, either. I thought I was doing good.
Then I weighed myself tonight. I've gained 2 lbs. GAINED!!! :*(
I try to tell myself it might possibly be muscle weight since I feel SO much stronger, and I've noticed I'm starting to look better in my clothes, but... really? 2 pounds in muscle weight? I'm not sure I believe it.
So frustrating! Wish I hadn't bothered checking. :(
On the other hand, however, I have lost 3/4 of an inch in my waist and gained 1/4 of an inch in my hips! That may not sound like much, but it's a great start in my book and it means my hip to waist ratio has improved. I am now at 0.96, down from 0.98 before. That is something to CELEBRATE!!! Woohoo! :)
And that's what I'm going to try to hang on to for now. I am getting stronger. The rest will come.
