This Has Been A Horrible, Depressing Weekend!

Monday, April 29, 2013

I have been in a highly stressed depression, all weekend. Can't help it ... tried. I am so anxious to speak with my Doctors! My fault. They have tried to get in touch with me; they, even, emailed me ... an email that I ignored until Saturday, when I decided to look at it. I had some blood tests on April 22. The result for my Sed Rate was not so good. The maximum normal number for a Sed Rate, for a female, is 30. Mine is super, super high, 89; which means there is a chance that my Autoimmune Disease is very active, or something else, just as bad. Yes, I am scared; and very unhappy. I have avoided in speaking to, or seeing, anyone, this whole weekend. Trust me, not very good company. I have, even, been yelling at my dog, to leave me alone; and he was only trying to let me know that he had to go out, etc ... just being a dog. I have to make it all up to him, after I know something; and, hopefully, can relax. My hopes have been dashed; yet, once, again. It is all in God's hand. Yet, I am praying hard!

Positive thoughts coming your way. Wondering what's wrong is many times worse than knowing. At least if you know what's going on, you will know how to deal with it. I've been in a situation where I didn't know what was wrong and ended up worrying about it so much that I had panic attacks and eventually went on anti depressants. I'm off of them now, but worrying can take it's toll. emoticon

Animals seem to know when we are stressed, sad, angry, confused etc. You may know that they pick up on our emotions..... they can read our body language and posturing like open books. Maybe when your dog seems to be getting on your nerves, try to view him as a a support system. Yes maybe he's getting in the way or being in front of you, all up in your face? he can't speak so maybe thats his way of trying to wave his furry arms and say 'hey mom, look at me! I'm right heeeerrreee and I love you so much! Just give me a big hug! It will be ok" :)

I hug my cats all the time. It helps take all of the stress away when I relax and listen to their heartbeats and breathing :)

count me among your prayer warriors.. not knowing is the worst. Call the doc. find out what is what and move forward in a sensible way to deal with the cause

I'll be praying for you, too. It will be good for you to call those docs. Knowing what you're dealing with will let you start taking action. Not knowing doesn't help you....
