feeling good...

Wednesday, July 17, 2013

I haven't had a chance to write here lately...

It's been a bit busy, and we're coming up on another busy few weeks...

But just wanted to get on here, touch base...

emoticon I've been getting 7-9 cups of water consumed for the last 3-4 days! For those who know me, you know I don't like water. I've been working on it for the past month, some days none, some days up to 4... but I'm doing pretty good now!

emoticon Amazingly, I have not been hungry! Even for sweets! I'm just full and content! I've been able to stay under my calorie limit daily!

I have exercised a few times - but it's very hot and humid here and I don't handle the heat well. We just turned on our small window air conditioner this morning, and that has really helped today - if we stay in the living room. lol

I'm hoping in the morning, I'll be able to do some... more than anything right now, I'm desperate to gain strength. We fly out on business 2 weeks from tomorrow... and I've found that I don't have strength to climb steps, walk far, stand long, etc.

I notice that my ability to function (and pain level) are proportionate to the amount of sleep I get.... and I've been short on sleep for about a week. So - I need to get on the chair exercise team and site and work on exercises that build strength again.

I'm really disappointed that I had the strength, and now have lost it... shame on me!

Well, my friends, must get a few things done before bed tonight, so I'll say goodnight!

always seems to me that it takes time and/or money and I keep running out of both of them. without time you get less sleep and less time to exercise. maybe putting the baby in the stroller will help? The kids will give you motivation to keep walking.

emoticon on getting your water. It is difficult to exercise in extreme hot weather, and hard to sleep too. Hopefully, the heat wave will be over soon and you can get back to your usual routine.

It IS hard to keep exercising when it's so hot. I try to take advantage of the cool of the morning with the fan blowing on me, but I still sweat a gallon! Keep up with the water - soon it'll be your favorite!

Good seeing you here Roxie, way to go, good job with the water, awesome, keep up the great work, I cheer you on, don't beat your self over the head over getting away from strength training, instead, remember all the great accomplishments you have done, you have and continue to do a good job...we all falter and get away from our routines, it happens, but the main thing, you realize what you need to do and are making plans to get back on track, that's half the battle, woo-hoo, way to go my friend, keep on pressing ahead, you are doing great! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
