Getting back on track

Never written an actual blog entry before. So this is my first one on Spark people. I look for inspiration through reading others blog entries and it does help to get inspired. Me and my fiance both know what we need to do to get healthy, but problem is we "talk the talk", but don't "walk the walk". Today for instance we went to a Soccer park and walked 3.0 mi. So I was feeling motivated to start getting active again. Normally we'll start and then fall off the wagon after a few weeks.
We both have our temptations, his are salty snacks and mine of coarse is sweet snacks. So what I'm asking for is some encouraging and motivational words. He would like to loose 70lbs and I need to loose over 100lbs. My highest weight was 323, thankfully I'm out of 300's, not by much though, currently about 294. Have actually maintained that weight for several weeks now. I work nights, so sleeping and eating pattern are kinda crazy. Right now were trying to eat more fruits and vegetables and drink at least 100oz. of water a day. So here it goes again, hoping to get back on track. have a good day 7/29/2013

    You can do this if you set your mind to it. You will have good days and some tough days, you will make mistakes and that's all o.k. You just have to take it one day at a time or even one meal at a time. You have to do what works for you. What works for you may not be what works for your boyfriend and that's ok too, you can support and motivate each other and we are all here to provide support too.

    I badly fell down recently and after several days I took the very hard step (for me) of putting it all out there in a blog and asked for help. This great community of people stepped up and helped get me back on my feet. They are my support system and we will do what we can to be yours.

    That is cool that you decided to write a blog! Glad you are on track! I work 3rd shift as well and it is hard but if you want it bad enough, it is doable!

    You are off to a good start! You are back on track.
    And now your first blog!!! Woo Hoo!! That's great. You've reached out!
    That's not easy to do.
    Our paths were surely meant to cross. Heck you want to walk the walk and talk the talk and my username is walk the talk!! Surely a sign in there!!
    I know what you are going through. I am over 300 lbs. But I am DETERMINED to get it off! To get to my goal.
    It's going to take hard work and dedication. It's going to take even more work because muscles have softened, you have a lot of weight and bad habits.
    Keeping it real.
    Today I DID NOT want to work out. It took all I had in me, every argument and fight within myself to not do it but I did it. That's what you will have to do.
    So... It's great you are in this together. You can go onto a healthy and fit life for each other.
    I'm here to help if I can in any way I can. My blogs are silly and usually offer some bit of help. Though today I'm looking for people to give me suggestions what helps them. Stop by and read the responses, maybe they can help you as well.
