On to the next test. The Dr. took me off the PPI acid reducer meds as they are not working and he's ordered an ultra sound to have a look at my gallbladder to see if that's what could me causing my digestive wow's. I have to wait 4-6 weeks as imaging tells me that what the wait is right now.

In the meantime I've added some digestive bitters, a liver tonic and betaine to my diet to see if that will stop all the burping and trapped gas in my upper abdomen area. I sure hope something gets figured out soon as I'm getting too skinny. 105.5 the past couple of days.. my goal now is 110.. 112 to 115 would be a better weight for me, but I doubt I'll be able to get back up there for awhile!

The Dr. commented on my weight loss and agrees that I need to put some back on, but it's hard to eat enough right now to do that. I told him I had wanted to lose 10 pounds, but the rest of the weight came off because of the stomach problems.

My white count was really low, only 1.7.. 4.0 - 10.0 being normal, but it's been low for about 15 years, but this is the lowest it's ever been. Not sure what to think about that one.

My blood pressure is also quite low.. they took it 3 times to make sure and it's around the 98/54 mark.. I have a home machine and thought it wasn't working, but it is..so I can keep an eye on that one. My husband thought my arm was too skinny for the cuff and I was getting wonky readings..

My Triglycerides are also below normal (low).. not sure what that means either. And last but not least, some high numbers in the Red Blood counts..

Next time I see the Dr. I hope he can shed some light on these results. (I just got the results on line this morning)

I was hoping for better test results, but I do feel OK, with fatigue being my only biggie right now.

And on it goes..

I really hope that all the test results and your upcoming gallbalder ultrasound provides your doctor with the answers you both need.

Good healthy vibes coming your way.

Have you been tested for lactose intolerance?
We found out my DH had it 20 years ago, and he feels a lot better since he avoids milk. It was kind of funny, his GP actually told him to drink milk in the morning to stop his stomach ache and bloating... A that time I learned about lactose intolerance at school and suggested to him to avoid milk and that was the solution.

I sure hope you get some feedback from the testing that indicates what the underlying problems are and that the doctor is able to figure out a course of action for you that will help you to feel better. Being underweight and trying to gain, when eating food is challenging, is just as difficult as being overweight and trying to lose. I'm sure it's a matter of trial and error for you to try out calorie dense foods that don't exacerbate your symptoms. Good luck to you. Paula
