I meant to post a blog last night, however, our internet was on the fritz again. Nothing like paying for a service that isn't working properly!
Here are yesterday's 3X Challenge Results: I REALLY struggled yesterday to keep the same numbers as the week before. This challenge kicked my butt big time. Thankfully I was able to make some tiny improvements, but I wasn't able to move on to 3rd sets of some items like I had hoped.
3X Challenge Day:
Planks: 1 minute (same) Goal: Met
Pushups: 10 (same) Goal: Met *Did a 2nd Set.
Jumping Jacks: 63 (+1) Goal: 80 (I felt like my legs were going to give out! lol)
Sit-Ups: 20 (same) Goal: Met *Did a 2nd Set.
Lunges: 10/per leg (same) Goal: Met
Squats: 20 (same) Goal: 25 (I also felt like my legs were going to give out on me!)
Wall Sits: 42 seconds (+2) Goal: 1 minute (I was wobbling so much I thought I was going to fall!)
The sleepiness has prevailed the past few days. I do however think I am going to try to take SlimmingShay's advice and push through it (unless I absolutely can't). I'm going to start going to bed at the same time in the evening and waking up the same time in the morning to hopefully readjust my sleep schedule. I also need to set an alarm if I DO need to take a nap. A 1 hour nap should be MORE than enough if I need to energize myself.
Last year around the end of October
, we moved into our current home. Therefore, I've been doing a lot of housecleaning overhaul. (Aka. Cleaning things with 100% effort that haven't been cleaned top to bottom since we moved in). You know, all those super fun chores, like: cleaning the blinds, fully cleaning the kitchen cabinets (inside and out, top and bottom), scrubbing the floors on hands and knees with REAL WOMAN POWER, Moving furniture to vacuum and mop underneath (heavy pieces which don't get moved normally), Organizing and adjusting closets, wiping the baseboards/ledges/doorways... all that stuff that is normally hard to do (or remember).
I've been avoiding getting started on the cleaning because I truly hate it
. However, I'm a perfectionist, so it is impossible for me to let my house slide into the depths of messiness. My husband thought he was clean/organized until he met me. I still feel disorganized and messy compared to my mom. I'm not OCD or anything.... I just like having things feel somewhat clean and organized. Wish me luck!
Btw, this time last year I was busy changing this:
By doing this:
(We started painting the DAY WE CLOSED ON THE HOUSE!
The coffee bar is over by the seating area. It is my favorite part of the kitchen.
That was just one of the many many changes we've done since moving in... right now my husband currently has the master bath ripped apart. Updating a home is a working progress!
