Month break

Yes it has been a month since my last blog. I have a new app that I log all my food in on so am not on Sparks as much. This does not mean I have had a break. I had a 10k race and a half marathon in March, both went well. I have been getting to the gym at night when we have crappy weather. I have been really watching my calories for the first time ever and honest about the amount. This has paid off.

I had my weigh in at the gym today for my 12 week challenge. I am down 16 pounds, 2.5 inches on waist, 4.4 inches on hips, and 4 inches in my thigh, and 4.4% body fat. Super proud of my hard work. I know it will keep going. I feel like I am on a roll and finally figured out the food portions. I feel like I was doing it all wrong before. I might actually wear a bikini this year.

My new favorite thing is overnight oatmeal. I discovered this new company called myoatmeal.com where you can make these amazing flavors. Every morning is some new twist on breakfast. I have also been running a lot more. This Pacers race series has been great. I run Cherry a Blossom 10 miler this weekend (got bib on Craig's list) then have Parkway classic 10 miler next weekend. Then two weeks till my half marathon in the Outer Banks. The hard part comes this summer when too hot to run but beach bodies are made in the Spring.
