Ally update

Thursday, August 07, 2014

Ally is now 16 and no she is not responsible enough to drive. 2 years ago she was diagnosed bipolar too. And it has been a struggle finding the right medication. She is on her third since being diagnosed. Each time before the changing of medications she has a bad manic attack. I am scared when she gets manic that she might hurt herself or others. It really stresses me out. It seems to happen when I am the only one with her. She has been doing good for around 10 months now. I recently found out she was mistreated by a boy last October we have her in counseling. She will not talk to me about it. There are times I don't know if its her issues or the fact that she is a teenager that she drives me nuts. I love her bunches but she needs to learn the meaning of two words at least: listening and being quiet.

1. God
2. Family
3. Love
4. Having a job
5. Quitting Smoking
6. Drinking water
7. Being able to exercise
8. SparkPeople
9. Friends
10. Support System

Thanks all for listening,

It is so good to connect with you again.

I prayed for Ally & I know God will keep you in His
care & guide you along this journey. Teen years
are not the easiest to start with, then add on the
bipolar & the abuse from a boy. so much for teens
    to deal with today.

    Lots of hugs,

The teenage years are always hard. Do you have someone else she likes that she will open up about the incident with the boy? I hope you find the right mix of medication sonn. Perseverence is the key and you are doing all the right things Andi. Hugs to you and to Ally.
