My new normal- being HYPER sensitive to carbs

You think you are invincible. It won't happen to you.
You ignore the warnings.
That's why I picked the SP use name "Now-You-Did-It"
It shouldn't be a surprise to me.
Type 2 hits.
Which makes ignoring that my body hates carbs, incredibly hard.
My body loves the same foods I'm eating everyday now. It responds appropriately to them...........until I try something else. Last Friday some of the kids and I went shopping and came home starved.
My daughter came over to baby sit and ordered sandwiches for us from the pizza shop.
No problem I thought.
I ate my very favorite grilled chicken sandwich. With bacon and mozzarella cheese. No bread of course. And a few strawberries. Just for dinner.
And gained 3 pounds!
I am eating this dressing on my daily salad now~
from the Coconut Ketogenic Diet book.
3T sour cream
1/8 t. onion powder
4 T per serving equals
3 g fat
0.5 net carb
I use garlic in mine with extra dill. Delicious! I've never liked salad dressing- love this!
Eating feels normal now- no surprises.
And I never wonder what's for dinner! :o)
