Having a Fun Time Losing Weight

Wow! I'm losing weight and actually enjoying it.

Two things:

I subscribed to the vegan meal plan from Happy Herbivore. It's a no added oil plan using whole foods, no packaged stuff. Home cooking.

The result is that I get a lot more filling foods and I feel satiated. That makes a huge difference!

The plan includes weekly breakfast, lunch and dinner menus with a shopping list. That is key for me. I like already having a plan written out, with the shopping list. It also includes a prep sheet for people who want to batch cook the whole week's meals in one go. I did that a few weeks ago before a surgery. Cooked the whole week's food in advance and while I was recuperating, all my husband had to do was reheat food for us both. Big help.

The other thing I am doing is using the cognitive tools in the book, "The Beck Diet Solution." It's making a huge difference for me. It isn't a works with any diet. It targets your thinking and helps you learn to think differently. I recommend it A LOT.
