7 lbs in 5 weeks!

I've lost 7 pounds in 5 weeks using the Happy Herbivore meal plans. Plant based, whole foods. That's fast loss for me!

I'm tracking on Lose It and using the cognitive techniques from the book, "Beck Diet Solution". That book is a big help.

I feel very satisfied on the plant based, whole foods meal plan. It satisfies. Volume really does make a difference. It is a no fat added, all home cooked vegan plan.

My favorite part is: STARCHES! I'm eating potatoes, sweet potatoes and whole grains. While losing weight. I think it's silly that our culture has demonized carbs. It's not true that they "go straight to your hips" as someone told me last week.

I know, because I lost 7 lbs in 5 weeks! WITHOUT EXERCISE.

The lack of exercise is not my choice. I am recovering from a surgery and it is taking forever. But I'm glad to be losing weight even while I can't exercise.
