Lesson Learned?

Have I learned my lesson yet? That is the question that I need to answer. I have lost my mojo for exercising. How do I get it back. I need to just start back up again and I will regain the motivation. I have seen from past experiences that the more I move as well as eating well, all of that will help me lose the weight. I need to remember that always and never give up, because it seems like I get so frustrated after I lose so much and then give up on my exercising. I need to remain positive and stay strong, as we all do!

    I find that my MOJO comes and goes, and it always a bit of a surprise. The way I deal with it best is to find exercise I love, and just keep doing it even when it seems easier to skip it. I take several gym classes with a good friend, and that encourages both of us to go because we don't want to let each other down.

    Try videos with a group. Sometimes it makes you feel more accountable. I use several on You Tube. There are many for walking, strength training, Zumba, dance exercises and etc. Just type in your interest and go for it!

    Start out with small increments if you need to. 10 minutes or 15 minutes & then build off that.

    Try something new even if it's a new walking route ... I change that up from time to time so I don't get bored.

    I've totally been there! I used to like to run, but then got burned out on it. To get back into exercising, try doing something new that will allow you to continually challenge yourself (like I like weight lifting now). Or, ask a family member or friend to exercise with you to help you stay accountable.
