"Old school" (wired) running...

Thursday, September 03, 2015

Last month a question was posted about quality wireless bluetooth earphones, and I chimed in stating I had good luck with the yubuds Liberty wireless earphones. Argh! The kiss of death! Today they decided not to turn on for me! I contacted yurbuds support, and as always they were most helpful and will be sending me a new pair at no charge! (it was a known problem) Customer service can fix a lot of things!

Hopefully the new ones will be here before next Wednesday, as I am traveling Thursday to Colorado and am running in my first Colorado 5K race on 9/12 (another state off the bucket list!). If not, I'll be running "old school" with my wired yurbuds. Got 'em out today for my run, and they worked just fine (except I forgot how much more volume they can crank out!).

I know some of you veteran runners are probably thinking "old school" means no tunes, but to me, that is "cold turkey"!

No tunes when I run, but I use Motorola bluetooth earphones for tunes when I walk. The difference is, cadence isn't so important when I'm walking.

emoticon I SO identify with that "kiss of death" phenomenon! If we don't hear from you again, we will assume you are tuneful again and just staying in the good juju zone.
