Starting from scratch - no shortcuts

Well, what I vowed would never happen, happened. After losing 30 lbs and maintained that weight loss I stress ate through two of the most heartbreaking incidents my family has faced, and hopefully will never face again. The stress eating AND stress drinking resulted in gaining the 30 lbs PLUS an additional 15 for good measure.
I've toyed with doing what I did last time which was a very strict NO carb, NO sugar diet but after going back and forth with my doctor and admitting what he said would happen came to fruition I realize I have to listen to him and make an honest & legit. LIFESTYLE change.
I'm going to do this by truely utilizing Sparkpeople and other resources - track foods, be more active (thanks to fitbit I will make sure to hit 10000 steps a day) and more imporantly utilize the free extras Spark offers. Resolutions usually happen at the beginning of the New Year but not mine, it's October 1 and my resolutions for a healthier life are as follows: track food DAILY (everything that passes through my lips), blog post at least once a week (last blog post was in 2012) if for any thing to hold myself accountable, weekly weigh-ins, and get more active. I hate the gym but I have a fitbit, resistence bands, and Leslie Sansone walking DVD's - the new me starts NOW!
