1/20 Update

Wednesday, January 20, 2016

As of this week I am no longer a full-time working mom. My neuro has ruled that I need to stop working for now to give my body to come out of this long-term flare. He does not sound hopeful that I'll go back any time soon, but we'll see. If God wants me to, he'll see to it. In the meantime, I am back in class and have managed to get a hold on my assignments this week.

It's a weird thing building a new routine at home. I am trying to do this without overdoing it. My big accomplishment was handling my food. I ate on time, at right, and even planned a scrumptious dinner. I got a bug this week to go Caribbean, so I decided on Caribbean Jerk Chicken tacos. My family loved it and I did, too. recipes.sparkpeo

Not sure what the rest of the week will hold, but hoping to do as well. Now I have to get back to researching next week's assignment.

Change is always difficult but usually worth it. I'm sorry to hear your flare up got so bad but your body is probably trying to tell you to rest. Miss you on the thread.

All you can do is take one day at a time and do your best. I felt weird too, when I retired, but I'm back in the groove now. Some thing good might come out of your going back to class. emoticon
