Aerobic hoeing

I hoed peppers, sweet potatoes, and beans today. It was a 45 minute aerobic ... and my shoulders are sore.

I also planted watermelons, Brussel sprouts,mand beans. This work was not aerobic but it did stretch me in yoga-like ways.

One of the things I appreciate about garden work is that you exercise different muscles all the time. When I worked out at the gym, I tended to work the same muscles most of the time. This is different.

And good.

And not as boring as the gym.

And there are vegetables to eat.

    More than one benefit when gardening. there is the exercise and the fresh and healthy foods. Keep up the great work! By the way, I love roasted Brussel sprouts.
