I hoed peppers, sweet potatoes, and beans today. It was a 45 minute aerobic ... and my shoulders are sore.
I also planted watermelons, Brussel sprouts,mand beans. This work was not aerobic but it did stretch me in yoga-like ways.
One of the things I appreciate about garden work is that you exercise different muscles all the time. When I worked out at the gym, I tended to work the same muscles most of the time. This is different.
And not as boring as the gym.
And there are vegetables to eat.
