Scale is evil

I have been ignoring the scale... for a long time now... but I have been working out 4-5 times a week doing zumba, body weight exercises and personal training with weights.
However... I have been a bit to slack on the nutrition tracking... sooo, I took control back this week.
The scale tipped me over the edge... my weight has gone up about 10lbs. I was so irritated by this that I decided enough is enough. I need to start really paying attention to what I am putting in my body.
I have been doing much better this week... one of the biggest changes I had to make was cutting out the cereal... I could eat this one particular cereal for breakfast and then again for dinner... and I was doing this much too often. I haven't had any this week and I am noticing that my legs are not as swollen and my bladder has been working overtime!
I decided just for further aggravation to step on the scale this morning and much to my surprise I am actually down about 3-4lbs!!! I know this is water weight... but hey, it is weight that I am not carrying around at the moment...
Sooo maybe I am on to something here... now to just stay away from that cereal!!!
