Skydiving - YES!!!!! I am BACK!

Hello to my Spark Friends! Hope all of you are well.
I am back at Skydive Chicago, and have been here for just over a week. The weather has been terrible, unfortunately, so I won't be able to get in all my jumps this week, either, as I leave on Monday. But......I am still having a good time with a lot of great people here. AND.....
Tuesday I got in two good jumps, and was able to flare my parachute properly and landed decently both times. Didn't really move much ahead in those jumps as far as freefall, as one was a "recurrency" since it has been 3 1/2 months since I jumped. They were closed on Wednesday, and Thursday I decided it was way too cold to go up to 13,000 feet.
Today it warmed up, and I got in two more jumps. The winds were pretty flakey, making the landings a bit trickier. One was really good, one was a little rougher, but ok. The freefalls were awesome. The first jump I did tracking, and the 2nd jump, dock with my instructor, let go and do a 360 turn, dock again, 360 again, then dock, do a 180 and track and pull. He said I did great on those. I'm so thrilled that I was able to fly myself through the sky and connect to another skydiver. That's a big achievement! :)
Now hope the weather is really good tomorrow so I can get in at least two, and maybe 3 or 4 jumps. Another good thing about the hard work I put in at the gym while my ankle was healing....not only did I strengthen my arms, but I tightened the upper arms up, and now I am getting less bruised by the harness (they are student harnesses meant to fit a variety of people, and I am short and have slim shoulders). So that was a big plus, too.
Blue skies, my friends! I'll try to be on here more this winter. I have some more weight loss goals to achieve, as I want to be able to jump a smaller rig next year! Wishing all of you the best!
