The highest weight I have ever hit in my lifetime. It's not an achievement I want to blast to the whole world, but it's one I feel I need to share here. To feel accountable. To grasp the weight of the situation, so to speak? It's no laughing matter, I understand that.

I am committing to lose 2 pounds per week for the next 56 weeks to hit the weight I want for an upcoming cruise. Spark says I'll actually hit it a month early using their calculations if I just stick to the 2 pounds per week. It's a healthy goal. An attainable goal. But I have to start NOW. Not wait until after Christmas, or wait for the New Year to hit. I'd lose 4 precious weeks waiting on a date to begin. So.. Today it is.

Happy Monday to all the Sparklers out there conquering your health and enjoying this life we've been gifted! As long as I'm still breathing, I can still reach my goals. Just keep breathing.
