Seems so weird to type 17, as I am in accounting and still working in 16. That will take a while, thank goodness I don't write to many checks by hand anymore.

I have been stalking on here for a while now. I started seriously tracking and excercising on Dec. 31st, I thought why wait another day to start on New Year's just go ahead. I was ready and I felt like it was time. Did my first real exercise, I walked 35 minutes on treadmill. My knee felt great, so I did it the next day too. Skipped yesterday, but plan on tonight after work. I would love to walk the dogs but it is pouring down right now. And they are not well behaved on walks. They bark and scare people, but all they want is to see other dogs.

Scale did go down a pound this am, but its not weigh in day that is going to be Sunday mornings. Start the week off right! emoticon

I am in accounting too and I always have to stop to figure out what month is actually the current one.

Congrats on getting your program started. Nothing worthwhile in life happens without a first step. I hope it is the first on many successful ones! emoticon

Hi! I think its great that you started tracking your nutrition and fitness. This is what is helping me to lose. I can analyze the reports to see what I need to tweak. Carbs, calories, fat, etc. I think its great you are walking on a treadmill. I have started jogging on the treadmill a little bit at a time mixed in with walking because jogging really helps me take the pounds off. I had a dog who was so awful at taking walks. She would just huff and puff and pull on her leash. It made the other dog do the same thing (He is such a copycat). After she passed I was able to get him to walk nicely. It is really cold where I live in Utah and I am just not one to walk my dog in the cold but sometimes I try.
