Rest is important

I've always worried about rest days. I know I'm supposed to rest, and the weekends tend to be more restful than weekdays, but I try really hard to stay active every day, because I've found that very little exercise can make my weight shoot up. However, I had a long weekend, and I tried to stay active, but Sunday night I wasn't feeling terrific. I had gone to a bridal shower brunch, so some not-so-healthy food was involved (strawberry crepes, french toast, bagels and bread), but I didn't over-indulge, and tried to have more protein and veggies/fruits. And I did some exercising, but that night I was exhausted and my stomach was not happy. That made it hard to exercise, so I cut back on my exercise and rested. And I actually lost weight. So resting is important.
