Waving good bye to March

Sent to me on my Spark page its my quote to finish March and carry into April.

March was not the mouth I wanted the scales continues to bounce around but when I look back its bounced between 155 to 159 so thankful no higher.
tips and shares from Spark members I would not have seen their fun tips.
I am still struggling with the food tracker and have since I started my journey in 2012. . My Spark friends have always cheered me on to keep tracking never give up . but i still struggle.
I know many do not like the changes at Spark I found the new community feed is full of some great tips for our journey.
A community member responded to my share on tracking by reminding me to read the message on the nutritional tracker
Choose the best search result for what I ate. pick and move on.

I did track for 16 days before I was stressed by the tracker .
I Looked back at where I got stressed to my surprise it was usually meals I fixed for dinner.
Instead of stressing myself I out my plan is track at least two meals every day. I will be tracking Breakfast and Lunch if I get stressed looking for dinner foods I will move on its only one meal. I will by the end of April I will have traced 60 meals by the end of the month. And dinner will be a bonus some days.

I am not going to let not finding one meal send me into silly eating like it has in the past.
I have never track my silly eating . decided not stressing over tracking dinner will prevent silly eating I will achieve two goals tracking at least 2 meals and no silly eating.
I am going to continue my step up challenge of 300 + a day .the challenge started as a team challenge. As part of a fitness challenge .. I am now heading into week 3 of my challenge. I have a small step into our living room I used to do my step ups this way I can do my step ups and watch Basket Ball need to find an good show to do step ups when basket is done I do have one more game on Sat. if all goes well another one on Monday! I did do 400 + yesterday watching the Zags and just for fun added 100 watching the Ducks live to play another game !

Found some great socks Friday and wanted to share

I have a Special pair to share with a fur supporter Mr. Spot and his mom Barb we dance ever Friday evening and enjoy banana treats after wards.

I found a taste of Spring in my yard while i walked at half time on Saturday

    Fran, Your plan to work on tracking breakfast and lunch sounds like a good one. Dinners can be more difficult to track, especially finding the calorie count for things like homemade soups and cassaroles, or any multi ingredient dish.

    I find that if I have tracked breakfast and lunch I know how many calories I have left for the day and then if I have a dinner that is hard to track I just work on having a reasonable size serving of that food. As long as I keep to a reasonable portion and know I have used healthy ingredients and have a general knowledge of their calories it can work not to track every dinner.

    I am with yea Buddy, the tracking is just a pain. I eat clean most of the time, I have done this so long that I know I do not eat more the 1000 to 1200 cal a day. That's all I care about.

    I am sure you will take March out with an excellent BANG.

    Life is too short not to wear fun socks and use glitter. I have crocus and daffodils plus the forsythia in my neighborhood are in bloom. Waiting on the lilacs.

    Misery loves company? I'm not pals with the food tracker either. I use it on occasion instead of all the time. It doesn't have the level of detail on nutritional breakdown that I prefer to see BUT it is okay for tracking calories. I try to remember to use it as a helper ... not for punishment!!! Don't let it tell you what to do, or make you feel bad.

    Your self-made dinners are what stresses you out. Do I have that right? I am sure you know this, but on the off chance you don't I'm going to say this anyway. Did you know you can enter the recipe into Sparkpeople? It takes time to set it up initially of course. But I did it for hubby's recipes. That way, forever and ever, all our favorite recipes are in the system.

    I know what you mean about the tracker Fran. I try to keep it simple and any times refer to favorites.

    Your plan for breakfast and lunch with supper as a bonus, sounds good to me.

    I love your step up progress, too. I can see you now.

    Your socks are do cute and the flowers with he little blue/purple heads, are smiling with Spring fun.

    I get overwhelmed with nutrition tracking but trying my hardest to learn how to adapt to it instead of letting it frustrate me and then binge because of that. Good for you for working to find the healthy balance you need with tracking.

    your step! .... I had a thought that is you ask a Coach .... go to message boards and the thread for help/technical I am sure they can help .... Otherwise .... keep on with your plan .... (we do the best we can) ....
