Patience is a Virtue

I know I wanted to do this slow, but 1.5 pounds in 3 weeks is VERY discouraging...

I i know however that I need to step up my game a bit. I keep telling myself that i need to ease into this.
The exercise need to build slowly, my physical conditions demand that.

I could do better with the calorie intake.

I can do this.
Heck though, even if I loose .5 pound a week, I will have the extra of in 2 years! LOL

    I feel you. I'm fighting the urge to jump on the scale every day. Remember that the excess weight didn't happen over night. And will take time. Stay focused

    As much as we'd all like to drop pounds instantly, the fact is that it just takes time - sometimes a lot of time. But think of the contrary notion. If you don't persist in good eating and exercise, what is that going to do to your weight? It's almost guaranteed to increase. Even though a plateau doesn't seem like a flashy victory, it sure beats packing on more weight.
    Be patient and persistent. You can do this.
