Another Good Week In The Bag

Tuesday, February 13, 2018

Time is clipping along.

Tuesdays are busy days.

WW, exercise class and back home to work on a project.

The project was shampooing the living room carpet. This involved MOVING my treadmill. Now there's a workout... LOL
We are also working on re-routing some computer/TV wire... we shall see how the goes.

I had my colonoscopy on Friday. Got a clean bill of health and was surprised when he told me I didn't need one again for 10 years. Kind of scares me. My mom's cancer tumor was quite large when if was discovered at the age of 65... I'll be 64 in June .. I suppose I can always request one sooner if I feel I need one.

Still hitting the library hard and reading an average of a book a day. I tend to read in spurts. I will devour books for weeks on end and then not read any for months. Guess winter is my reading time.

Still loving the new Freestyle plan. It just works well for me.

I was down another 1.6 at todays weigh in. Hoping to not sabotage myself this week too much.

No plans for tomorrow other than a Walmart run and French class. Happy Valentines Day to me! LOL

Thursday is knitting group and then shopping for bedroom carpet. I have been putting that chore off, but I need to get it installed before the end of April as I won't have time after that until next fall.

Friday might be a bowling day.. will wait and see.

Happy Valentines day to all my friends.

Congrats on weight loss! Hope you had a nice Valentine's Day. Since it was also Ash Wednesday, I was busy. Our WW group here has abandoned the nice building they had for years and instead is meeting in a church. Just yesterday, I went to visit the group home and was told it had closed and most of the patients had been placed elsewhere. Hard because I've been visiting that home for around 20 years, weekly and the patients were like extended family. Glad you like the FS program. It doesn't work for me at all so I'm just counting calories. I enjoy your nice blogs! You might inspire ME to write one. emoticon

You certainly keep active. This helps keep you physically, emotionally and spiritually healthy. emoticon

I too, read in spurts, although not at the rate you do. It seems I always have some other distractions.
I have a new cat and am busy setting her boundaries. I have never had a young and active one before so I am always focusing on her lately. emoticon

Hope your Valentine's Day was special. emoticon emoticon emoticon

    Happy Valentine's Day!! emoticon

Glad freestyle is working for you! I tend to read a lot in the winter, too. I think good books require blankets or beaches so my reading is seasonal, too.

    That is a busy Tuesday.

I never thought I would be jealous of someone spending Valentine's day at Walmart; I have to spend V Day at the GYN office. emoticon
