If you happen to be a senior and want a safe and exciting workout give pickleball a try. I started it mid 2017 and was able to loose 35 lbs to date. I have worked on EVERY kind of diet and program for 30 years and only yo-yo'd back and forth. Pickleball really works and its a tremendous amount of fun as well as social interchange.
