My Weight-Loss Vision Statement:
Healthy food choices and improved physical fitness will allow me to live the type of life I want. I will have more energy, less pain, be able to remain active as I get older and will enjoy many years with my family. I will take fewer medications when my health improves. Steps I need to take: track food, activity, and water daily, eat as many whole (non-processed) foods as possible; leading to better nutrition and overall health. I will remember that food is fuel for my body and make these life-long changes.
I needed to remind myself what my journey is about. Some days I get discouraged when I think of how slowly I am losing weight. When, in all reality I have made so many GOOD changes and feel so much better. Yes, it is about weight loss, but for a bigger reason. . .improved health. I am achieving that even when the scale does not move!!!
