Need motivation - do something meaningfully positive for yourself.

This journey has ups and downs - the key is to have more ups and better ups than the downs.
I restarted my 10 year journey in November of 2015 - yep 2.5 years ago. 265 and high blood sugar grabbed my by the throat.
So what did I do.
I first quit drinking soda of all kinds - went to water and red wine. (See more on this later)
I scheduled an appointment with a sleep doctor. This took until February 16 to get scheduled.
The transition off soda was a very positive and not that difficult - three headaches in the first week - then no more caffeine withdrawals. Now two and a half years without caffeine.
Started using a sleep machine I purloined from my mother (she got a new one) in November 15 - been using it ever since - apnea was later diagnosed when I could get my appointment and I got my own machine - use it every night and feel great. If you have apnea do yourself this favor and get the machine - nose pillow mask and dont worry about being sexy - life is better then sexy.
Red wine - I finally stopped red wine in May of 16 - this is something I knew needed attention - and I finally made the decision and quit. Being sober - no fog, feel great in the morning, better relationships - need I say more. I just hit two years and have no plans to return.
Whole 30 - I lost 25 pounds when I quit drinking and made other improvements - then life happened and I got sloppy and hit 250 again. I started Whole 30 at the suggestion of and with a friend - another joined us - and WOW - if you are in an unhappy place or need a strict plan (I need strict plans) - Whole 30 could be a Godsend for you. 66 days - down to 217 and feel fabulous.
All these things made a difference in my life - the veggies I learned to eat ten years ago when I started Spark built on other healthy habits made the Whole 30 much easier - build your arsenal of healthy habits and bring them together for the best you can be.

Make it a good day.
