Woohoo! It's the end of my second summer schedule workweek, six more weeks of it to go. This one has been very busy, and I'm really looking forward to my long weekend. I've got to plan my food better than I did last week. I already have plans for some batch cooking, especially a slow cooker meal of pork tenderloin for Father's Day.

Friday plans are up in the air. I was going out with my sister, but she's been sick, so it'll depend on how she feels tomorrow.

I have some household missions for Friday and Saturday, and I MUST go grocery shopping since I've been putting it off. One priority mission is trimming three cats' worth of claws. I keep hearing Mickey sticking to the carpet. He is very big, Miss Moppet is very small, and neither one like it, but I can handle them. Grayce is big and round, the most uncooperative, and I rarely get all 18 claws on the first try. Husband holds a treat in front of her nose while I trim, and that's usually good for at least one paw. At least we don't have any poly-dactyl cats with extra toes. 54 claws are quite enough.

I've never tried trimming cat's claws since all the cats I've owned have been outdoor farm hunters. But I've certainly been on the receiving end of many a claw. I don't envy you that mission. emoticon

It sounds like you have some busy days ahead. I can't imagine trimming that many claws. I have trouble doing my own fingernails. LOL

    Have a good long weekend.
