Who cares??!!

I rarely compare myself to others but lately I can't get past all the before and after photos I've seeing recently where the before weight is higher than mine but the body is so much smaller, the necks so much more graceful and the faces, stunning and where the date on each and the total lost is in such a very small amount of time. Granted, that's only my opinion, and I am happy for them and they've done great work, but still...

I don't need to walk around with a paper bag over my head by any means and I'm not trash talking myself. I know everyone gains differently and loses differently and yadda, yadda, yadda. I'm just being honest, stating facts and wondering why.

I'm not spending much time thinking about it or losing ANY sleep over it, it just makes me say, Hmmmmm and wonder if they're 4 feet taller than I or what, LOL, and that's where it ends because I love the person I've become. I AM unique, proud, confident in who I am, but sometimes, seeing something like that gives me pause and I'm owning up to it.


Goals for the next 48 hours:

emoticon Clean up the yard.

emoticon Fix the stooooopid hose, water spigot and solar birdbath fountain.

emoticon Recycle old flower pots.

emoticon Hang the clothesline.

emoticon Hang the hummingbird feeder.

emoticon Hose the walks of all the dirt the squirrels have pulled out of the flower pots.

emoticon Add more dirt to said flower pots.

emoticon Water & weed where applicable.

emoticon Plant the flowers in the vegetable beds for bees.

Make a rhubarb/strawberry pie. (Had stove issues for the last couple days)

1 hour clutter control in the office. (Tough when managing 3 people's medical bills and insurance, no shelves and only 1 file cabinet and when that's where the computer games are).

Go through bookshelves in the living room.

Fill (at least) one bag for GoodWill or Purple Heart. (this is a daily/weekly/monthly goal)

Return the propane tank.


emoticon Swing for at least an hour.

emoticon Dance to the music of Ed Sheeran with hand weights.

emoticon Enjoy the flowers and the critters at the feeders.

emoticon Enjoy Thistle and Nala Li

Stay hydrated.

emoticon Early to bed.
