I've been hovering around the same weight for almost a month now. Gain a little, lose a little. You know how it goes. It's not a lot of fluctuation. No more than 2 pounds up or down.

It's tedious and annoying.

But the truth is that I could be doing more.

In AA we used to say, "You have to participate in your recovery."
That's certainly true when it comes to eating, isn't it? The magic pill approach doesn't work, probably doesn't even exist.

If I am honest, I have to admit that I haven't been very active at all. Yes, I walk more than I used to do; but it's not as much as I can or should do. As for eating, I allow a bite of this, a small serving of that, one meal that isn't on track, one, one, one, etc. All those ones add up to something substantial.

I need to up my level of activity and I need to return to rigorous adherence to good nutritional choices.
I need to participate in my recovery.
