Backing off the Vegan way for now.

I think I realized that I have been too caught up in the quest to be perfect in trying to be vegan. As much as I love animals and do plan to become either pescatarian, vegetarian or vegan at some point, I have decided to make my quest to lose weight easier on me by not restricting the sources of protein until I get into a size 12/large. And, so far, I have lost 6 pounds by eating more protein (mostly eggs, nonfat yogurt , nuts, and seafood, with a bit of chicken), and less carbs. It's not much, but it is a start. I feel like this lifestyle change is different, like something that will actually work for me.
