It's been a long 18 months---
March 2017- cracked pelvis
August 2017- direct hit by Hurricane Harvey
November 2017- lung cancer for me....massive heart attack for my husband
The last year, there's been surgery for me, pneumonia for both of us, chemo and radiation. I am currently fighting another pneumonia. We have had a tough time when at times neither of us could move or breathe well. Taking garbage out....getting mail was a challenge. With cancer treatment done, I need to commit to better health. Time to join in Spark Guy's 10 minute a day exercise. I want to walk the dog....return to line dancing.
10 minute a day exercise starts today!
November 11- walk dog 5 minutes, walk dog 3 minutes, 10 minutes cleaning (18)
November 12- walk dog 5 minutes, walking 15 minutes (20)
November 13- walk dog 5 minutes (5)
November 14-
November 15- walk 7 minutes, cleaning 10 minutes (17)
November 16- walk 10 minutes, walk 15 minutes, walk 5 minutes , walk 10 minutes (40)
November 17- heavy cleaning 30 minutes, walk 10 minutes , walk 5 (45)
The first week was a nice start.
November 18
November 19 walk 5 minutes, cleaning 30 minutes (35)
November 20- walk 35 minutes (35)
November 21 - walk 5 minutes (5)
November 22 - cleaning 30, walk 15 minutes (45)
November 23- walk 10 minutes, cleaning 20 minutes (30)
November 24 - cleaning 45 minutes (45)
I hope to edit and update this blog for two weeks to get the habit started.
I'm doing well. I'm going to add another week.

November 26- line dance 30 minutes, walk 20 minutes (50)
November 27- walk 10 minutes (10)
November 28 - walk 10 minutes (10)
November 29 - cleaning 45 minutes (45)
November 30- line dance 45 minutes, walk 30 minutes (75)
December 1- walk 30 minutes (30)
I think I have a good 10 minutes a day exercise habit started!
