Starting fresh Jan 1st

I think I am finally going to make a firm decision as to what I am going to eat starting Jan 1. I am going to try and be a low-carb vegan. I just hope I can actually stick with it, I tried keto for a few days and eating all of that fat really made me uncomfortable mentally as I was brought up to think of fat as bad for you. I am scared it will somehow raise my bad cholesterol, even though people have told me that is not true. Truthfully, I want to be vegan because I feel for animals and I know it is better for the environment, UGH! will I ever stick with what i believe in?!?!
