Today I Am Thinking About Good Health

Ten years ago, when I was 42, I had a health scare. I was pretty ill, and the potential diagnosis of colon cancer was a real possibility, along with Crone's Disease and other scary options. In the end, a colonoscopy revealed a large pocket of infection, which was successfully treated with high doses of steroids. My doctor also removed several polyps, which were thankfully benign. A specialist did another colonoscopy three months later, that showed no further problems. I've been healthy ever since and I am grateful every day for that.
