Focus On The Positive
Sunday, September 08, 2019
I normally do not focus much on myself in the mirror. I am never happy when I look in the mirror, now that I am in my 60's. I exercise in some form daily. I am 10 pounds away from my goal weight. However, yesterday I looked at myself. My thighs are in good shape. There is a huge gap between my thighs. I know that many work for this, just as I have. I always notice that my legs look good in jeans. It seems strange for me to say this. There are other features that are not making me happy.
Just thinking about this, reminded me about positivity. My father was the most positive man that I have ever known. It has always been important for me to do the same. I know that just making the one observation of myself really lifted my spirit. I believe it is important for all of us to find something good about ourselves. It could be a physical feature or a trait that is unique to us. How it raises our spirit to look on the bright side.
