Weeks 5 and 6

It has been a couple of weeks of ups and downs. The ups: I have been doing some sort of exercise every day! Me, the one who hates to exercise. I'm actually starting to look forward to it 😮! Especially my lunch walks at work. It's a great stress release. On my way to Target today to get an exercise ball to add in some new workouts. I'm down 17 lbs since I started this journey. Not too shabby 👍! Also, I celebrated my 30th wedding anniversary 💞! Thanks Donnie for supporting me on this new chapter of my life. Love you bunches!!! The downs: After fighting with blood clots in her leg since December they had to finally amputate my sister-in-laws leg above the knee yesterday. The biggest contributors were her weight, smoking for over 40 years, and uncontrolled diabetes. This is just one more reason for me to keep on this journey. I have never smoked and I don't have any signs of diabetes so those are two things in my favor. If you get the chance say an extra prayer for her. She has a long road ahead of her. Have a great weekend.🦋
