Terrible Day 1-7-2020

I am so down and upset, I do not know what I am doing wrong ... I am trying to follow the plan, I track my food daily and try to move as much as my arthritis and headache will allow me ... but today I get on the scales and I am heavier then I started back with the Spark-People program. I was down from 262 to 254 but since then I have been gaining back all of it and more, when I got on the scales this morning I was 272 ... I am lost as what to do.

    Thanks everyone for your support and guidance, I will try to do better tracking my food and exercise. I am sure with GOD'S Grace and Spark- people's suppot/guidance I can turn my progress in the right direction.

    Sometimes we lie to ourselves about what we are eating. I know I do this and then wonder why I have gained weight. Don't let it get you down. I to got on the scale this morning and had gained weight. So make today your first day. Measure your food so you know exactly what you are eating. And move. Walking is a great exercise. I have arthritis too in knees, back and ha nds making some exercises difficult. I also live in the north so winter makes me walk inside. I have a small house so I do a figure 8 around my dining table and kitchen island. Remember you do not have to do exercise all at once. Each session only needs to be 10 minutes long to count. then you can do 3 sessions a day to reach 30 minutes which is what is recommended. Hang in there and ask me any questions you need to. emoticon

    I would have to guess you are not measuring your food and doing a good job logging. Please don’t let the food win your battle. Get mad and determined to do your part to make sure you are focused and within your calorie limit.

    Have you had a physical/check-up lately?? Good to rule out someting unnown going on. Otheriwse, all I can tell you is stay connected here . . . really, the support helps.
