Knee Replacement Fun

Well, I am having both my knees replaced 3 weeks apart, the first one next Wednesday (that's D-4, yikes!). As everybody knows, I am very nervous.
A laugh is always good medicine to help calm nerves. Right?
I found these gems. Enjoy!

Hope your surgery when well.
my mom just had her hip replaced . She is doing so well! It was just a few weeks ago and starting walking immediately. She didn't use her walker and nurse was concerned. Told her to go to a cane and then she didn't :-)
She cant keep still. She loves to walk and move. Hope you are doing well.

Sending strengthening thoughts, vibes, and prayers your way. You’re joining the bionic babe club, we’re a special crew. Ha! You will be happy you did this. Mine were replaced three months apart, I’m thinking three weeks sounds better. Worry changes nothing. Do what you can to prepare, strengthen those muscles that will support your new parts, I loved the laughs you provided. My knees were replaced with what were then classified as male knees. Fourteen years ago when mine were done, good options for females did not exist. My doctor used the smallest size of what he knew worked. Newer, better options, much better procedures, and rehab is light years ahead. You will be glad you’re becoming bionic. Mentally prepare to hunker down and do the work to heal. Wishing you a very speedy recovery. It’s a big surgery and you are very brave having both done so closely together.
I had my left knee done nine years ago and it definitely is life changing. I will probably have the other one done sometime this year.

No one likes the thought of having any kind of surgery but these replacements are life changing.
