Starting Anew is Hard to Do Part I.

Well, after participating in the Spring, Summer, and Fall 5% Challenges in 2017, I came down with pneumonia. Had lost 42 pounds and was feeling great one day
and the next was out of commission for I didn't know how long.
Long story short --
Took a round of antibiotics. Had follow-up x-ray which looked like I had not shaken the pneumonia.
Took another round of antibiotics. Followup x-ray didn't look good so was sent to a pulmonary doctor. Breathing test showed mild impairment. CT scan showed MRSA (one of the superbugs) in my lungs. More antibiotics and treatment followed by a procedure to take a closer look at my lungs.
Diagnosis -- Mild emphysema and broncheostatis (my bronchial tubes are stretched larger than normal) and therefore I am more susceptible to lung infections.
During that time of course I felt sorry and sad for me so I ate "comfort foods" which, by the way, may work for a day or two but in the long run they make No One Comfortable. .I immediately started gaining weight and feeling bad and eventually all of the weight came back.
I feel sloppy and look horrible in my clothes, and my balance is terrible. Oh that taste of nearing my goal was wonderful only to be dropped back into the misery of "the way I was" before all of that work.
