New Roads

It is hard to leave the reality you know. Harder still to step forward when you know you are entering a new reality.
Every journey begins with that first step. That leap of faith. Even when we find ourselves standing at a crossroads someplace we never wanted or expected to be, still that step must be taken.
That great expanse of the unknown before you can be daunting and the desire to turn and scamper back the way you came and duck back into your hole can be overwhelming. And while you may have to rely on the wisdom of other people to help you on this journey, remember that in the end the choices are yours. If something isn’t working for you, try a different pair of shoes, roll up your sleeves. Just keep moving forward with determination and use your voice and your heart to help guide you along the way.
And remember that there are plenty of people pulling for you. Plenty of people who are willing to offer support and encouragement. Let them help. No one travels alone.
